Bayonetta: Bloody Fate is a 2013 Japanese animated film based on the video game Bayonetta. For the English-localized version of the film, FUNimation Entertainment requested that as many video game cast members as possible reprise their roles. Hellena Taylor, the English voice of Bayonetta, relocated to the UK and had to be recorded separately at The Egg Recording Studio at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England. Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic is a 2010 direct-to-video adult animated feature film based on the video game Dante's Inferno. The film was broken into 6 parts to be animated by 6 different directors / animators in the signature style of that studio. The studios involved were JM Animation, Dongwoo Animation, Film Roman, Production IG and Manglobe. Spoiler Warning: I am going to give a synopsis and my opinions at the very end.

The year is 1403. On the orders of the Hungarian king Sigismund, Cuman mercenaries raid the mining village of Skalitz in Bohemia, a major source of silver. One of the survivors of the massacre, a blacksmith's apprentice named Henry, joins the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla who leads a resistance movement against Sigismund's invasion. It is par for the course for a protagonist to start off weak, the intent being for the player to mold them into something worthwhile over time. This is also true of Henry, except that he starts off significantly weaker than is typical for most games. We're talking no skills in every area, including blacksmithing, the very craft he was raised on. Henry may even lose a fist fight to the local drunkard within the first hour. Devil May Cry: The Animated Series is a Japanese animated show based on the video game series of the same name. It is comprised of twelve self-contained episodes that tie into an overarching narrative. Chronologically the story is set after Devil May Cry 3 (a prequel game of sorts) and sometime between the events of Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2. The Animated Series was also confirmed as cannon in the most recent game release, Devil May Cry 5. Opening Song: D.M.C. Fódlan is a continent divided by three rival nations, with the Garreg Mach Monastery (an influential power in its own right) at its center. The Church of Seiros based at the monastery helps to maintain peace between the three houses by serving as an Officer's school for students from each nation. Byleth, a mercenary by trade, becomes the newest professor at the Officers Academy for one of the three houses. The house chosen by the player will determine the roster of students and the course of story events, to the point whole character threads are ignored or dropped entirely. In this way at least one play-through of each house is encouraged because each contains a small piece of the larger picture, offering new insight into key plot points. There are also four different endings (one for each route) to the same conflict, though, there is no cannon "true ending".
