Music to Level Up Your Day: God Eater

I don't know much about musical theory, nor am I a musically inclined person. However, I do love to listen to video game soundtracks. Who doesn't? They can be a powerful listening experience in their own right, or be as evocative as the scores composed for film. Each of these posts will feature music tracks from a single game title, or series/franchise in some rare cases.

Composer: Masaru Shiina (Go Shiina)

Singer: Alan Dawa Dolma

North American Release Date: March 2011

The game is set in the fictional country of New Asian Union (NAU) in the year 2071. Civilization has been ravaged by mysterious monsters known as "Aragami", so an organization called Fenrir was founded to exterminate the Aragami using living weapons called "God Arcs". God Arcs are made from the cells of Aragami and the people who wield them are known as "God Eaters".

"When I work on a God Arc, I can tell how it got its scratches. Whether they're from a God Eater protecting his comrades, or from losing his nerve and fleeing." - Licca
